I’ve been fiddling with the Mikrotik web proxy. (v3)
I am only using Ram (2 gig) and getting a 10% hit rate.
It seems very good, did mikrotik make it or is it squid or something?
Also, Max connections is 5000.
I already have 2373 at this very second.
How come this is fixed so low?
How large HDD cache is possibe?
I used to use squid, but I like this on the one box.

I’d be very careful about putting the mikrotik proxy in a production environment. It will work for some time 3days up to 1 month even.. but I haven’t had one sucessfully stay up yet.
