Web Proxy RB750

Good afternoon, I’m trying to set up a Web Proxy on RB750 firmware 6.49.7 (stable). I turn on an explicit Web proxy on port 8080, on my computer I prescribe the IP router and port in the browser settings. but nothing opens. On the router, when turned on, the state of the Web Proxy is passthrough, I checked on other models everything works, but the state is RUN. Tell me what I’m missing or these models do not support proxying?

To troubleshoot this issue, I would recommend checking a few things:

Make sure that the Web Proxy is actually enabled on the router. Sometimes, settings can be saved incorrectly, so double-check to make sure that the Web Proxy is definitely turned on.

Ensure that the proxy settings on your computer are set up correctly. Double-check that you have entered the correct IP address and port number in your browser settings.

Check your router’s firewall settings. It’s possible that the firewall is blocking traffic to the Web Proxy. You may need to configure the firewall to allow traffic on the correct port.

Finally, if none of the above steps work, you may need to contact the manufacturer of the router for further assistance. It’s possible that this model of router may not support proxying, or there may be a more specific issue with your configuration that requires additional troubleshooting.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.
