I have two SXT Lite5 (RouterOS Level3 license).
The distance between them is not more than 100 m. Are in direct line of sight.
The maximum link speed is not more than 54 Mbit / s. I read somewhere that the radio channel bandwidth of 300 Mbit / s. What am I doing wrong?
What settings are you using?
I’m using the default settings. Which are offered in a “Quick start”. Just switched to nstream. RouterOS v6.6.
How did you test the throughput speed?
link speed is not more than 54 Mbit
if there is no data on the link, the conection will stay on low rates. start sending multiple data streams, like many intensive downloads at the same time. link speed will rise.
I tested the connection speed with the built service (direct from PTP server to client) and using speedtest.net. The measurement results are the same. Also BitTorrent client does not exceed the above rate.
Direct connection via RB951Ui-2HnD provides almost all the 100 Mbit/s.
