I have a RouterBoard 3011 and I will be using a SFP module to connect to my collocation. I need to provide to them a MAC address I will be using to connect. On the device I see a sticker with a range of MAC addresses (11 of them), but I do not know which of those will be used by the SFP module. Is it known which one will be used for the SFP module?
You can open WinBox, WebFig, or a terminal connection to get the MAC of each interface. In WinBox, Open Interfaces, Click Ethernet, and double click on sfp1. The MAC will be on the General tab.
if I recall correctly, on the RB3011 the sfp MAC will be the 6th MAC. (being the 6th port on the 1st switch)
