I have a CRS326-24G-2S+ and want to quickly set it up as a router with different subnets in the 10.x.x.x/8 range.
I have the internet plugged in to port 24. Why doesn’t the WinBox UI allow me to choose that one in the quick set wizard?

Why you can not use ether1 instead of ether24?
Is broken?
I could but I would need to replug all wires because I grouped them logically
QuickSet is a tool for housewives with little to no knowledge in networking to quickly make their brand new gear up and serving WiFi in their kitchens. The number of configuration choices is deliberately limited to keep the damn thing simple.
QuickSet is not meant to make trivial things more accessible to more experienced guys. Moreover, QuickSet has a great potential to ruin your fancy configuration in case you configured anything outside of QuickSet and then decided to change anything via QuickSet.
Several MT devices have “Internet” labels on their front panel on that port. It would be confusing if they let you choose another port as the WAN uplink at the QuickSet level.
You’re free to second-guess the easy defaults later.
It’s easy to dump the default configuration, edit it in a text file, and then reload the changed config, so you can use the QuickSet as a template to start your real configuration.
Don’t use quickset.
No, like others said, Quickset is completely fine as a starting point, but when you see something that is not possible in quickset, move on to the advanced menus. Once you do, don’t go back to quickset.
