Yes, LOS, no interference from other sources, and using devices equal to the specs of the wifi router you should get around 433 or more.
To expect 400-500 in a noisy environment and through walls is wishful thinking. However, what is more important to me, is stability so if I can get 300mbps through a wall and its rock solid, that far more important to me than 400 and not stable. Thus what I expect from MT is to provide me a way to get a solid stable wifi experience, it may not rock the throughput charts but is dependable.
For me it is also more important to have a stable connection rather than a faster one but with some hiccups.
However comparing range and overall wireless stability, my old router performed the same way (no real wireless disconnection problems or whatsoever) - it had other problems, that’s why I changed it.
I have found a YouTube video testing this router. I don’t know much Spanish, but looking at speedtest throughputs he got almost the same numbers as me:

So it might be that this router can’t perform better or some default config is wrong…
Hi guys Ii have an RB 4011iGS. I have a pair of of MikroTik cAPac s connected by Cat 6a cable to the 4011. All three devices are running the latest release Rb 6.4.7.2. The cAPsc are managed by the 4011 using CAPs Man.
My home internet service is a steady 150 Mbps. All devices that are connected to the router by Cat6 see the 150 Mbps. Unfortunately, the wifi performance of the cAps is miserably slow. What may I have done wrong?
Is the WiFi still slow using the caps unmanaged?

I am now getting wifi throughput of about 25 - 35 Mbps.
I am reluctant to turn off the CAPsMan as it was quite difficult tor me (a newby) to get the CAPSMan working in the first place
I suggest and recommend you roll back the version on your RB4011 as well as on the AP’s managed. I was testing 6.47.2 and had very poor performance! It degraded and cut speeds in half.
please test using 6.45.9.

I have an RB 4011 and two cAP ac administered by CAPs MAN.
Everything in Mikro Tik is running router board OS V 6.49.5
The two cAPs are connected to the 4011 with Cat 6A cable
I have an Apple TV 4K box connected to the RB 4011 with Cat 6A cable. Using speed.cloudflare.net on the Apple TV 4K box I see speeds of 496 - 510 Mbps at the Apple 4K box.
6 meters away from the cAP I see 35 - 50 Mbps on most wi-fi clients (both Apple & Android)
What do I need to do to my settings to improve my wifi? Certainly the RB 4011 is able to pass the 500 Mbps speed through its ethernet with zero degradation.
Should I try to use (Tools > Bandwidth Test) to check the speed between the RB 4011 and the 2 cAPS?
If I do that and see acceptable speeds there then I can focus on the wireless setting for the cAPs. Is this diagnostic path sensible?
How must I change my wireless settings to improve my wi-fi throughput and speed?
UPDATE:
Using SPEED TEST I checked the speed of the ethernet connection between my cAPS and the RB 4011.
One shows 980 Mbps the other shows 970Mbps.
Now I think that that the CAPs MAN settings and the network settings on my RB 4011 are OK.
As a NEWBIE / ROOKIE it seems to me therefore; that I should FOCUS my troubleshooting work on the radio settings for my 2 cAPs .
Does anyone think that I am jumping to conclusions?
Does anyone have any advice or guidance on how I should proceed to OPTIMIZE my radio / wi fi settings?

To get a fresh start on everything, I am going to upgrade my RB 4011 to version 7 and start all over on the remote access points.
I am going to buy 2 Ubiqiti Nano-HD access points and connect them to the RB 4011 them through the 2 Cat 6A cables with POE that have been connected to my two CAP ac.
Sine I will never have more than 4 access points I think the overhead from CAPSMAN is not worth the penalty of the reduced wifi through put.
No matter what I do cannot get wifi speeds over 50 Mbps.
Are you hoping that IT psychics after reading the question will immediately determine that you set it wrong?
To solve problems on the radio you need to know the following parameters.
Plan of the building with the location of the points
A scan of the air from each point on both bands
Existing point settings.
Without these data it is not possible to give any useful advice.

I have completely given up on CAPsMAN!
Upgrading the 4011 router and the 2 Caps to V7 did nothing for my wifi speed.
Today with everything on v7.8 my wifi STILL crawls along at 25-35 Mbps while my ethernet devices show 497 Mbps. WTF???
So far, I have not purchased the 2 Ubiqiti Nano-HD access points that I mentioned in 2022.
Instead, I may purchase a pair of Extreme 305 C WAPs and connect them individually with Cat 6A cable to my RB 4011 router. Even if I do no to do this I am going to direct connect my 2 MikroTin cAPs to my RB 4011 WITHOUT CAPsMAN.

I also tried to use CAPsMAN before but @bpwl gave me suggestion not to use it, because I only had two AP and it wasn’t really necessary and two cap ac worked like a charm until they was replaced by ax3 and ax2.
I had some issues with Wifiwave2 drivers but after latest update everything is working a lot better. Speed on WiFi is about maximum my connection allows, on PC directly connected to the router i have 170-180 Mbps, and on wifi around 170-165 Mbps, and i don’t have channel width set to 80 MHz but to 40.
I know that my internet connection is not the fastest and i can’t say how will it work at higher speeds but for me it’s working as it should.
If you have only 28-35 Mbps at devices there is maybe something wrong with configuration.
Also you have ARM based router, you can try new wifi drivers, Wifiwave 2 and see if that improves your wifi experience
