I started using Mikrotik in March this year as a replacement to the “router” suplplied by my ISP. One of the features that drew me to your hardware (RB5009UG+S+IN) at home was the Winbox software. I have upgraded my granmother’s internet with a l009uigs-2haxd-in wireless modem/router in the last couple of months.
It is disapointing to see the visual appeal of the beta of winbox 4 is like one of these UI abominations that are more suited to mobile telephone users than computer users.
I hope you keep updating the 3.X version for a while yet or else make the future Routerboard OS backward compatible with the old 3.x version. Although I have only used your stuff for 6 months It will take me a while for me to get used to 4.x if I ever will.

Yes. I’ve been using Mikrotik for a few years now and the UI change is horrendous. I will eventually adapt but without being able to point with a finger at it, something about the new UI is just extremely off-putting.
Please, at least bring the graphical bars for signal strength in 3G/LTE/5G Cellular area back. This was the number 1 reason for me to launch the old Winbox over and over again, after familiarizing with the new one for a while.
