I can connect to my LTAP Mini just fine using Winbox 3. Winbox 4 however, different story. Using exactly the same connection details, I get the error below. Any insight on how to fix this?
Looks like you are connecting to the MAC address. This type of connection should only be used when no other connection is available. Try to use the IP address of the unit first. Also, MAC connection is much less reliable and is more sensitive to network latency. Try to close Winbox completely, then try again.
We found the issue, it is so, like you said. If there is high latency, MAC connection can be broken.

I have got the same error with version 4.0 beta13 while connecting to fully reset router RB4011 via MAC as cannot connect to 0.0.0.0 . If I use old good winbox no problems. Its Winbox 4 bug.
