Winbox "Addresses.CDB" - created permanently

Hi,

I tried to export my managed devices out of Winbox via: File → Save as… (stored as “Addresses.CDB” on my Desktop, Win11 (24H2)).
Winbox is v3.41

Now I wanted to delete this file, but the next time I start Winbox, the file is re-created.
How can I disable this permantely? I thought “save as” is just the current list exported and not a “I remember and update this file every time I get started”…

It’s probably a bug.
By default, addresses are stored in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\MikroTik\WinBox, but when you open or save them to another location, WinBox also changes it’s default path to this location. To solve this, you need to place your CDB file to default path that I specified above, and then open it in WinBox from this path.
