I must be totally missing it, but where can I download the last good version of Winbox 2.x, and why is the beta 3 being pushed when it doesn’t even remember window settings? So crazy??

Winbox 2 is included with the router (router webpage), and is also available on the download page on mikrotik.com
Of all the possible other things, not remembering layout is the least likely you will see in Winbox 3 
actually Winbox 2 didn’t remember layout, this is one of the best new things in Winbox 3, that now it finally does remember all settings.
