I can’t log in router via winbox ![]()
I got error message: “could not get roteros.dll: no reply”
Any ideas?

Make sure that router is running the latest version,
check that you are using the latest Winbox (download the latest Winbox from http://demo2.mt.lv).
Try to access router once more.

I have this problem sometimes, if you keep connecting repeatedly (sometimes it takes 10-20 tries in a row) it will download all the plugins. It’s just a way to force it.
If you are using broadcast mode / Mac-telnet this happens … its an unreliable communication method and therefore sometimes fails. If you are on the same switch and don’t have much other network traffic it should be pretty decent. Also make sure you are using only a single NIC on the winbox machine - possibly the broadcasts are going out both ports and causing problems.
