I need help if anyone can help. I have a serious Vista problem at ALL my customers pointing to specific tower(RB600; XR5; R52). I can ping and tracrt googe or any international sites but for some reason cannot browse. It’s def not the OS for if I connect the same pc to another tower, it works 100%. I’ve tried this with 7 dif Vista Laptops through the wireless network card and the local network card. I’ve tried Vista Business, Ultimate, Premium and Basic and all do the same.
check “ipconfig” in those vista machines, what does it say there. are all ip, gw, dns correct? can you do nslookup google.com on the vista? does it resolve? do XP machines work when connected to the same tower?
Thanx for the reply. My XP Works fine only YouTube gives me issues and this is the main site most of them use. I can browse the page but gives an error when loading the video. On Vista I’ve tried flushdns, resetting the winsockets, using static IP, everything. The last ping was 89 sent, 89 recieved. Like I said: It only does this on SOME towers not ALL.
For example Towers A,B,C. A connects through B to A. If I connect it to B and C, internet works 100%. If connect it to A, I get this issue. I used the exact same equipment on all sites. I’m running out of options here.
