It’s an allowed range for PRIVATE networking.
All the way up to 10.255.255.255 !! Useable for PRIVATE networking.
So is 192.168.0.0/16. ALSO used by MILLIONS of users worldwide. Never heard anyone complain about it.
IF (and that’s a big IF) such an address ever gets out in the wild, it will be dropped by the very first public router it encounters.
