Hi All,

If you had the option to choose between 900 Mhz., 2.4Ghz, and 5.8 Ghz for a 13km PtP link, over vegetation, which would you select and why. Thanks.

If it is over vegetation, than 5GHz, but if it is through the vegetation, then 900MHz. Basically, with higher frequency it is likely you will get higher throughput, but you need absolute clearance, no obstacles. With ostacles, lower frequencies will do better.

Thanks for the response. I think I will try the 900Mhz radio in a RB433AH. What is the best 900MHhz radio for this board?

Any recomendations on a good 900Mhz card that has been tested with a RB433AH?

This frequency is not allowe in my country, so I don’t really know, but Ubiquiti cards are good, so I believe 900MHz version is also good.
