Wireless not compatable with WX670/WX680 payment terminals

Hi!

I set up a RB951G-2HnD at restaurant to serve 2 WX680 payment terminals. The Terminals connect fine with WPAPSK/EAS, but they
don,t pass any traffic. I con not even ping from AP to terminal or vice versa. Even tried a Groove52

After lots of fibbing around, (even without security which also didn’t work) I decided to try other brands

An old zyxel G570U worked directly as long as the WX680 terminal did not loose the signal. If I lose the signal, the WX680
had to be rebooted and then worked again

then I tried USNB AirRouter and it works like a sharm. If the terminal goes outside of coverage and
comes back in, the WX680 is back on line within a second.

Can anybody see what the problem might be with ROS? Is ROS missing something ?
Tried ROS 6.7,13 and18

Random thought. Do you have the Mikrotik set to support B/G? Many old terminals do not support N.

Yes, set to B/G. What i didn’t try was older MT cards without N

Hi again!

Forgot to say that ARP ping prom interface works from RB device to WX670/680 terminal.
Disconnect the terminal an ARP ping stops

The terminals may be using power saving mode - perhaps a compatibility issue there?
