ZTE MF636 USB 3G Modem

Hi,

We have received a ZTE MF636 as part of our Orange 3G deal in the UK. Having had a look round the forums I found this post (http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/zte-mf636-usb-3g-modem-supported/30569/1) which seems to indicate support was maybe added in a previous release. The latest version (5.20, 21 and 22 all tested) however don’t seem to recognise this 3G modem, and the USB port never appears.

Has anyone else had any luck with this particular USB 3G modem?

Hi Dobby,

Thanks for your reply. We are using the RB750UP, and have successfully used Huwaei USB 3G Modems of various models. I’m not familiar with the USB OTG, how would we know if one is required?

how about modem ZTE MF190 , is this support for RB750UP ?
