CSS610-8G-2S+IN SwOS Release Tracker

Since MikroTik doesn’t seem to be interested in giving us this information, I thought I’d start a tracker.

As of 2/14/21, the most recent SwOS release is swos-css610g-2.13rc25.bin, from this post:

Please update as new releases are provided.

Also, a thank you for posting the solution here. I thought I was losing my mind trying to figure out why DHCP didn’t work, configured a static and worked fine.

Getting Access to the SWOS RC software was a bit of a pain too.

Hope they can fix this quick, been using RouterOS for 10+ years and this was my first crack into SwOS. Was’t fun! All working now.

Any updates? I have a few netpower lite 7R devices - different firmware but sharing mostly the same bugs, waiting with installation until fixed (too costly to replace on the roof if something goes wrong during remote upgrade, difficult to reboot with redundant power from several customers).

I just got the SwOS 2.13 on my device via auto-upgrade.

2.13 does not appear to fix issues found with the SFP+ ports operating at 10Gb. See: http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/css610-8g-2s-in-no-link-on-sfp-with-intel-x520/146985/1

Has 2.13 been pulled off? It is not finding it for me anymore.
Also as per screenshot it was dated as 1st feb, but there is nothing about 2.13 on MikroTik download page.
Can anybody confirm if this is still available?

I was able to just install it again through the switch’s web user interface. Seemed to install fine.

The web UI appears to be downloading http://upgrade.mikrotik.com/swoslite/css610g/swos-css610g-2.13.bin

The check for the latest firmware looks for the contents of http://upgrade.mikrotik.com/swoslite/css610g/LATEST

The changelog is the contents of http://upgrade.mikrotik.com/swoslite/css610g/CHANGELOG

Thanks, that did it,…my CSS610 always reported and error, unable to check for updates.
Only when I first clicked the link, suddenly the update option appeared.

Anyone sees this?

*) CSS610: report temperature under System tab;

My system tab does not display any temperature info running 2.13 now

thanks for this! it resolved 2 major issues i was still having on 2.13 rc12

1 - second SFP+ port flapping when both in use
2 - entire switch bricking when changing anything on the interface tab

I just upgraded trough webfig 3 mins ago from posting this for those above that couldnt

If you get contant reboots try disabling SNMP. I tried to add CSS610 to Zabbix and it started to reboot randomly, quite often. Even after removing it from Zabbix I still got reboots. When I disabled SNMP on CSS610 problem went away, up and running stable almost for two days.
