I am considering RB4011 for network upgrade but I am disappointed by unsupport of any switch features (VLAN, firewall) which I require. In leaked datasheet at http://read.pudn.com/downloads800/sourcecode/embedded/3157525/RTL8367RB.pdf (or Google “RTL8367” if link becames dead) I can see that the chip supports lot of features like ACLs and also VLAN support.
My question is: WIll be features of this chip implemented in RouterOS, for example in version 7.0? Is there any technical restriction preventing implementing it?
It is suprising that most of features (also basic feaktures like VLAN) of switch chip which you use in your advanced (and relatively expensive) devices (like in RB4011 and above) are unsupported.
