Mikrotikish<->English conversion table/dictionary

Eleanor (the car in the movie(s)) has two main features AFAIK:

  1. it runs
  2. it runs fast

As said I cannot see any connection with Mikrotik.

But I am not a fan of that movie.

There is a new logo for Ros, work in progress

Mikrotikish Meaning in Mikrotik world Meaning in real world English
release notes improved something with something Each resolved bug is listed with its unique ID and a short meaningful description. The ID allows to check for more details in the issues data base. It also lists new features with a meaningful short description and a link to the updated documentation. Followed by a list of known issues. let users make an educated decision if it is worth to consider an update
regression testing we've heard of that Each known bug gets a unique ID and a specific test which is added to the library of tests running automatically against each following release to avoid it gets reintroduced, see also release notes. try to make each mistake only once

Already being developed with “fine tune” optional!

@jbl42
The conversion table/dictionary is for "real" meaning, not for "what it should be".

Your proposed entries might be very good for another kind of dictionary "How to do things the right way", not yet in the works.

No sure how smart is in these times to run V8 daily… :slight_smile:

@dang21000 obviously you're not aware of gasoline crisis in some countries…

……and apparently takes everything very seriously :face_with_tongue:

Ooo... That fits the country version nicely.

Who has leaked our internal dictionary? :grin:

Thanks to this thread all become cristal clear! We can laugh but in many cases this dictionary and song (country is the best) are 100% accurate. Sometimes i really imagine Mikrotik’s team sitting in some garage with bear and thinking what to break next.

Scoop! :astonished_face:

We have an actual picture :wink::

:rofl:

Two-stroke two-piston engine? Kind of extreme optimization? :slight_smile:

This is how AI says, looks the MT ROSv8 development-team :grin:

How does “ROS Fuel” taste? :upside_down_face:

Chicken's look tells you.

That might be part of problems, traditionally real programmers drink Coke :wink::
https://uranus.chrysocome.net/coke.htm

RAM prices are not high enough, lets fix it.

I know, I know .... they only drink local RC cola, so the name causes endless ROS RC releases

If you look at it from the end, the other six pistons are hidden behind the first two. (Yeah, ignore depth-perception and 3D physics and all that.)

Too much cola. RC version of logo. To be improved.
