RB750Gr2 to ROS7?

Hi,

I’m trying to figure out if upgrading to Ros7 is ok on this device. Can’t find anyone running it on the hex lit/rb750gr2.

I can find a message stating that mikrotik advices to not upgrade in some circumstances:
Note: We do not recommend running v7 on hardware that does not have at least 64 MB of RAM.

As it has 64MB, I’m a little hessitant to upgrade. All is running fine on Ros6 (multicast, vlan etc), but would like to setup wireguard instead of openvpn.

i think that device will be fine on routeros 7

as always, berfore upgrading, make backup and export, copy them to your PC then try the upgrade, if you have some problem you can rollback with netinstall

Even map, map lite and cap lite can run ROS7 just fine (incl. wireguard).
They too have 64Mb RAM.
Should be ok for your device.
