Open the Wireless interface, and under the Wireless tab, change the SSID to something else.
I had to change my SSID back to original one, and change to “ap bridge”.
So what does those buttons “connect”, “use network” anyway?
Why can’t microtik like everybody else have integrated help for winbox with question mark that you drag to unknown things and short descriptions comes up??? Hello did only I seem to miss this?
Connect changes SSID and other settings to try and connect to the AP you have selected in the scan list. Use Network… I don’t know about that, can’t find anything on the wiki, found only one offhand remark here: http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/wifi-mesh-in-a-rv-park/42672/1
That would be nice… In addition to forums, online manual will be your best friend for learning: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Main_Page

What are those other settings?
Also if they make the connect button why not make “abort”?
Without clear understanding what was changed how to set ut back.
because once you click connect you are arleady disconnected from the client if you are connecting via wireless.
Deleted because not related.
To jail ? You americans really live in strange world there.
I was asking for exact button changes to be able to revert back.
You can use the Undo button
Thank you for suggestion, I will use this next time but my questions remain unanswered.
What those to button each change.
If you start making changes in winbox, the Undo button will revert your changes, stepping backward. And the Redo button will re-apply any changes you have reverted with the Undo button. Like most other software…
