SXT LTE lost lte interface

Hello All and @notjuraj - many stuff are detected and fixed.

I just found that case and try analyze it
Fist posts say about SXT LTE 3-7 who is old hardware and his fw version is like “chip:2.0 fw:0.1.2.4”
Some other post refer to SXTR with R11e-LTE who is know as SXT LTE Kit with firmware like MikroTik_CP_2.160.000_v018 and this hardware is under support, we can check that problem.
This 3-7 or Kit in the product name is very important.

Currently the disappearing lte1 is know for me at some SIM card (Poland Orange) with only r11e-LTE6 who is in loop of reboots - this case I know and currently one unit will be share to support.
Problem what you describe is like solved for me, or any one not write about it recently.

If anyone have that problem please contact with me.

Good way for monitoring is a script Watch LTE parameters: http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/r11e-lte6-2ca-not-staying-connected/136004/22 but he track working lte1, I never have a case with problems with lte1 interface itself.

About detect no internet and do some action I use that ways:
Simple watchdog: http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/sxt-lte-4g-cat6/134468/1
Advance watchdog: http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/tx-rx-fp-rx-dropped-pppoe-account/132656/1

@SiB,
so i followed the links you provided - thx a lot - but, the logs couldn’t give any new information. under load (and yesteday even without any load) the LTE interface simply disappears.
/system routerboard usb power-reset duration=2s fixes the issue (effectively reboots the module), however, this can’t be considered a working device at all.
(ofcourse, I updated the firmware using /interface lte firmware-upgrade lte1 upgrade=yes)

is there anything we can do to make this thing work as expected?

thanks in advance!

edit: you’re mentioning problems with Polish Orange. We’re using the LTE Kit with Slovak Orange SIM cards. can that be a problem? (i can’t test with other SIM, unfortunately)

In my scenario R11e-LTE6 with Orange (new) SIM just do reboot about 1m from point I see lte1 interface… in loop. Sometimes he can connect sometimes no.
This is like lte1 ones exist and not exist in loop.

Only way to fix this is share that device to MikroTik Support.
They want connect to that RB via Ethernet, not lte1 site. This is done easy. APN Settings you disable add routing or give big distance. DHCP-Client should get internet from other ethernet internet source.
They want to pass some ports. If you not have a Public IP then you must say it to them, sometimes I share my own Oracle CHR to pass that traffic.

Only way is write directly to support@mikrotik.com or https://mikrotik.com/support and they give you a step by step what to do.

anything new regarding the issue ? Maybe it is solved? My old SXT LTE still waiting in the closet till Mikrotik will have managed to make it work (replaced mine two times while it was under warranty). Now it is out of warranty already for 3 years  Hope there is somebody @ MT who stands by their products
