I’d like to refresh this topic. If has been already, I missed it.
Intel MB is running at 100% CPU after several hours of operation. I don’t know if it is cooking. It is very remote.

if the performance is fine (except the 100% number) then don’t worry. start worrying if it causes serious problems. that number can be caused by a lot of things, starting from your telnet/winbox connection that you use to look at the resources.
Thought I’d post the fix for the 100% problem. The new Intel MB had a built-in ethernet port. I didn’t need it but put a private address there for console access. No routes, no connection and no traffic. MT driver is “SysKonnect SK-98xx/SK-95xx Gigabit Ethernet”. Disabled the port and CPU fell to 0-1%.
