Tools -> Ping: interface field is missing

After updating my hAP ac to v7.21beta8 the “interface” selection box for Ping is not shown anymore. Because of that ARP Ping works only from the terminal.

Tested in WinBox 3.43, WinBox 4.0beta42, and WebFig.

The lack also shows in the iOS app, but only when connected to a device running beta firmware. 7.20.4 is fine.

I think MikroTik removed the dropdown in 7.21. The "new" scheme is to add the %interface-name in the ping-to for 7.21beta. At least that is the story at this point.

Yes, the ip%interface format works (on older RouterOS it doesn't)

But in my opinion this is not obvious, and less user friendly.

Agree. It's been a discussion in the 7.21beta release thread, not many like it.

Now, it should support that % format, since that's needed for VRF... but IDK why they didn't just leave the interface dropdown too.
