Usage GPON module SFP in Spain

Finally i got to the web acess to G-010S-B module user adminadmin password ALC#FGU

this is the web page only i can change SLID and password. all other command works like the g-010s-p tomorrow im going to test it in my gpon line

Hi again

G-010s-b doesnt work on ftth in spain maybe the missing synce? I going to try to disable it in the firmware and check it again.

Any suggestions?

There have been several reports about new modules with Realtek chips: Ubiquiti UFiber-Instant, V-Solutions - V2801F and many more. I’ve updated my list of GPON modules.
http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/usage-gpon-module-sfp-in-spain/104807/320

Does anyone know the difference between RTL8672 and RTL9601C. I suppose RTL8672 is the main processor and RTL9601C is dedicated to GPON processing. All clones of modules with Realtek chip have the similar partition layout.

Brief datasheet for V-SOL V2801F listed the RTL9601C as the main chipset.

Dear all.
a few hours ago I ran Zisa with Tilera.
I have heard some comments that were incompatible and I can now confirm that it is certainly compatible.
You can browse my old post regarding the ZISA OP151S. I have made it work by changing only the firmware I mentioned earlier, modifying MAC, SERIAL NUMBER, LoID, and PLOAM PASSWORD / IDONT.

To connect to Zisa ONT:

  • create a bridge without STP with ports where laptop connected and Zisa connected

  • Add an IP in laptop LAN in 192.168.1.2 (f. Example)

  • Connect Zisa ONT to the Fiber from ISP wait untill links UP. if till down after some time reeboot router with all connected.

  • Type in webbrowser 192.168.1.1 user: admin pass: admin upgrade firmware mentioned on my last posts from web.

after updated: Make sure your Zisa fiber Link is UP. If not just wait a while or reboot router as mentioned.

  • Telnet to 192.168.1.1

user: twmanu - pass: twmanu

  • type “?” without wuotes for the menu options.

We just will need manufactory menu to work.

Enter to manufactory menu:

  • type: “manufactoy” and press enter

“show ?” without quotes to show all options to check
“set ?” without quotes to show all options to set.

SERIAL NUMBER:

Inside Manufactory menu:

  • type: “show sn” = shows Actual SN
  • type: “set sn CCCCXXXXXXXX” with your serial number

confirm change with “show SN” command

LoID and Password:

inside Manufactory menu:

  • type: “show ctc info” (shows actual info) in blank normally

    \
  • type: “set ctc loid XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX” (in ASCII Format)
  • type: “set ctc password XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX” (20digit) without “0x”

If your Loid is in HEX just use one online HEX to ASCII converter.

confirm with “show ctc info” command

after all settings remove from created bridge SFP port and reboot router. ont will connect properly.

I hope all this settings would be fine for all ISP in spain.

After this you should add the corresponding VLAN/ PPPoE if needed from wour ISP in the SFP port to work.

Waiting for Zisa Users who can check this in the forum!

Kind regards!

This is great! Thanks for all the info and detail. My one and only question is: where can I buy a ZISA OP151S module? It seems to be out of stock in all the stores I checked…

Thanks.

I bought in Alibaba.

Kind regards,

hello again

I got several SFP but im not able to connect (zisa op151s g-010s-a g010s-b dfp-34g-2c2) i put the slid on the zisa with the slid and serial but its stuck on 05 state in init.
y tested too the ZTE and the nokia module but im not able to connect. in g-010s-a says error from omci manager

My original ont is a g-010g-p only i have a HEX SLID and serial number

Out of curiosity, what’s with the secrecy? You know, the “mail us if you want to know anything”, instead of simply making the info public.

Hello.

Here is Carlitos’ stick. GPON ONU SFP (CPGOS03-0490 v2.0)

Memory processor photos and others Realtek RTL 9601 - Winbond 25Q64JVIQ

Many values can be modified via WebUI and Telnet
You can also change the serial number of the stick by Telnet

Very stable, The only annotation I see is the warm-up, but the same thing happens in other modules
:open_mouth:
I recommend it, get in touch with CarlitoxxPro.
Good quality.

Regards.

Great post. Thank you for sharing all these photos with us. We see what is inside the stick
It seems CarlitoxxPro has put a lot of work into the module customization and testing to make sure it works with all popular OLT models.

Hi Petronas

Can you share more about Realtek RTL9601C.

What does it display?
cat /proc/cpuinfo

cat /proc/mtd

Here, drop this !!!

Data.jpg

I’m sent email to you but not reply ???

The system type is RTL8672 , so very similar to the CarlitoxxPro module. Have you tried to understand more? One can telnet to 192.168.1.1 ubnt/ubnt . Apparenly some of the parameters can be set using the flash command. I am wondering if there is a way to get it to work as well

Petronas, what user ID and password are you using? I can get the webpage to load on 192.168.1.1 or use telnet but cpAdmin/cpAdmin or cpUser/cpUser is not accepted. I’d like to be able to test the module after waiting so long

thank you

I’ve been able to make progress with the UFiber-Instant ONU module: it can definitely reach Operation State (o5) on the Movistar (Huwaei) ONT in Spain

Onustate 5.png
However I had to go in the diag system and manually overwrite the PLOAM password, because the flash command limits the GPON_PLOAM_PASSWD to 10 characters in the settings that survive reboots. Still WIP …

I received DFP-34X-2C2 and can confirm is working just perfect with pepephone ISP (S/N and Password).

Has anyone had any problem with this module or its twin DFP-34G-2C2 with other spanish ISP?
