I agree with you! 7.20.7 was not mature enough to go to LTS.

But on the level “long-term”, there is no alternative to correct the things beyond a newer LTS release.

If they already knew the bugs or issues, it was the right choice!

Obs.: Unless MikroTik start to add patches+hotfix numbering, like: 7.20.7.001.

Better a newer LTS release in less than 22 days than a RC that goes to stable with less then 10 Business Hours.

P.S.: Just highlighting an interesting fact that I think we should pay some attention to:

I thought the inclusion of the LTS chain in v7 was excellent. As was separating the testing and development chains. However, MAYBE the Marketing team rushed the technical issues a little too much.
