Only remark, it can't be downloaded (yet) from the download server:

No problems from Winbox...really great result bringing this to LTS!
Involved hardware: hAP AX3 and wAP AX.

[Update: the download is available through the website]

You have to select channel LongTerm

I think what he means is that 7.20.7 should also be available to the stable channel?

"Long Term" but not "Stable"? what a joke.

I think that the LongTerm chanel should be seleced by default when a user goes to a download page.

What is your concern? stable channel and long-term channel.

Probably because 7.21 will become stable very soon, maybe even within this week.

Now that we have officially killed V6, will there be a farewell video on YouTube with the most important moments and memories?

What makes you think that v6 is EOL?

As a principle, a new long-term release should be "promoted" from existing stable. But they have to start someplace for long-term. Happy about that.

Now hopefully the scheme becomes even numbers will become long-term so there is measure of predicability.

I don't think there will be new versions of V6 now that V7 LTS has been released.

In other software projects with LTS, there are normally multiple actively supported parallel LTS branches at the same time. I think there will still be security updates for RouterOS 6 for a couple of years.

There have been many v6 stable releases since v7 has a stable channel.

HAP AC2, HAP AC3, HAP AX3, HAP AX2, Cube60 AC, WAP 60G, SXT….all working..good . IM tired of Mikrotik HW is not able to upgrage automaticaly and also tired of manual update of those few HW….so Im staying on LONG TERM.

if thats your issue you can use a schedule.
But automatic upgrades still seem stupid.

I have Unify cloud gateway and there is no problem to automaticaly upgrade when new stable firmware is available. This is very very basic feature bacause Mikrotik is not able to do, I can not suggest this HW to casual people….

What is your point? You could have stayed on "stable" channel like until 2030 without updating further than 7.20.6. What makes a difference switching to long-term channel and then not updating past 7.20.7?
