Web UI - strange behaviour

Hi,
I’m facing with a strange web gui interface behaviour.
Before doing the update to the latest version 7.19.2, everything was fine.
After the update, and reboot, I couldn’t access to the web gui, it seems something is broken
I’ve reboot the unit, nothing changed.

You can see it in the attached screenshot the login page, and what is shown after the login.
Below the error shown in the browser Console

master-ef1b23f04037.js:1203 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'line')
    at TermBuf.lineAt (master-ef1b23f04037.js:1203:216)

The router seems to works fine, but I can’t manage it.

I’ve another unit showing same issue, web gui not working as usual.
With this router, since the winbox port is open, I’ve connected to it with Winbox, and in this way everything seems to working fine.

Any tips about this strange behaviour?

Thx!
Luca

Clear your browser cache.

Thanks!
Solved.

I’m just wondering why these two units had this problem while the update worked fine with all the others.

The others might have expired after reaching their time limit in cache.

I am having the exact same behavior shown in those screenshots above, however… clearing my browser cache did not fix the issue. The webui looks broken/half loaded and will not respond.

It is taking a long time to load the webuis on my Audience devices and they’re now basically inaccessible via the webui.

Please help, I emailed mikrotik and they told me to just netinstall them again. I don’t think reinstalling using netinstall is a good solution because it’s basically the “did you try rebooting it?” answer people use to “fix” microsoft machines.

@blingstatus Consider using WinBox.
PC/Laptop: https://mikrotik.com/download
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mikrotik.android.tikapp&hl=en
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mikrotik/id1323064830?platform=iphone

Second option: try another browser

Additionally, the IOS app does not have a full feature set of Winbox or the WebUI. Thank you for the suggestions but it sounds like “you will need a windows computer to work on your mikrotik equipment”… which I do not currently own.

I have a Mac and there is no winbox for mac… further, I am fairly certain I disabled those ports and have HTTPS and SSH open only. I have also tried another browser (safari instead of firefox) to no avail.

Hmmm.

This is very helpful, thank you.

I did find that this broken webui issue affects HTTPS only. I was able to enable HTTP again and the webui loads normally and fast. I think there may be a bug with the HTTPS site. My certificate is good for 10 years so that shouldn’t be the issue.
