Are data rates reaching maximal supported by devices?
About Lenovo P2 - no questions.
But I’m not sure that Xiaomi Mi Max 2, with the manufacturer’s support for MU-MIMO gives out a maximum. If I’m wrong, correct it.
Not only BCM and Xiaomi.
Lenovo K5 (Qualcomm Snapdragon) now get Tx Rate 72.2Mbps-20MHz/1S/SGI (max supported by device) with RB951Ui. With all previous ROS versions Tx Rate was 54Mbps (i.e. only 802.11g).
Your phone is already working on max rate, this limitation in Your phone hardware.
So what about xiaomi mi max 2?
Wow! That’s great, thank you!
This device is factory locked to 20MHz channels, to get more throughput you have to unlock 40MHz channel support
Hello. Very thanks Mikrotik!!!
This problem is for me FIXED!
My affected devices: Samsung galaxy Xcover4, Lenovo K6 and tablet Lenovo YOGA2. With 6.41.3 is maximum TX rate 54Mbit and download speed max 20Mbit.
With 6.43rc are ALL devices Tx Rate 72.2Mbps-20MHz (maximum supported).
On samsung Xcover4 is download over 42Mbit

I sat once again twisting the wi-fi settings in the hope of achieving normal speed. I think I’ll go and look at the forum to see what people write. the problem was solved! Thank you Mikrotik team. Now my old Xiaomi red note 2 works as expected. Now I’ll update the wap AC at work
After upgrading to version 6.43.3rc my Huawey Yumo reaches a data rate of 65Mbps-20MHz / 1S. With previous versions, it only reached 54 mbps.
Thanks Mikrotik!
6.43rc3
*) wireless - improved compatibility with BCM chipset devices;
This includes XIAOMI devices. Please upgrade and test - fixes soon will be included in current releases as well
I am pretty interested to know what the fix was. Any chance of a technical summary about what had to get changed?
Also, given 6.43 stable is still some months away can you please backport this fix to 6.42.1?
Huawei P9 lite, works great

Thanks guys for the fix! It works great on my Cat S60. Now I reach an air rate of 150Mbps, which is the same speed as in the opposite direction.

The bonus with 6.42.1 is that it has the BCM Wifi fix in it. Already I am seeing all my Android devices and laptops with BCM chips now connecting faster than 54Mbit! Wooohooo! File transfers over SMB/CIFS to the laptops improved 50% too (on a 20MHz channel).
I just upgraded my CAP Lite (RouterBOARD cAP L-2nD) to RouterOS v6.42.1 (stable) and I can confirm that my Moto G5 Plus now can connect to this router using the 802.11n speeds, instead of 802.11g. The registration now shows 72.2Mbps-20MHz/1S/SGI on both TX and RX.
The bandwidth measured using IPERF3 tool shows ~50 Mbps on download and ~53 Mbps on upload. Those bandwidth results are on par with the TP-LINK EAP115.
Congratulations to the Mikrotik Team for this fix.
Thank you very much Mikrotik Team.
Please, disable bluetooth while you test your wifi on phones. Many phones (including xiaomi - i have one of these) have shared resources for bluetooth and wifi.

Good day
Once again, a huge thank you to your team!
You fellows!
As for the phone, you were wrong, the limitation was software! With ROOT, it now supports a bandwidth of 40Mhz.
Now everything suits me!!!
All the best to your team!

another good new
6.40.8 includes the fix
Were testing 6.42.1
2G is terrible (10-15mb) unless you use 20/40 (60+)
This is across devices.
Terrible waste of spectrum when all you need is a stable 30m
Most of our customers have our 30 synchronous (3030 i get me hands dirty)
Huge bonus points is you can name the artist ![]()
5 or 6 all in an apartment all channel bonding saturates 2G.
Really unsustainable.

Sorry but it’s hard to understand You.
Are You still experiencing issues? Are You sure this is not caused by other factors?
I connected to another provider. 100 MB. The download speed is still around 50Mb / sec. And the Upload speed reaches 92 MB / sec. The Mikrotik team made a bug fix, but not until the end
